Church News
"Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth." Psalm 54:2
Thank you to the Church family for their prayers. We are pleased to be able to pass on the following news:
John Urciuoli's mother, Connie, is "well, home, and doing good!" Last week she was hospitalized and in pain and doctors were considering sending her to a larger hospital for diagnosis and treatment.
Heather Morales is home and recuperating after her recent hospitalization. Jonathan and Heather thank the Church for the prayers, meals, and support.
Kara Hanson expresses: I want to thank everyone who signed up to volunteer for games! We have all slots filled! Wow! What great hearts to serve! If people would still like to help, we could still use more cakes for the cake walk, 2 L sodas for the ring toss, and other candy/prizes for all games. I will bring a donation box to start putting donations in on Sunday, 9/19..
Joneil Ribaya and JR Brogden who recently completed successful careers with the Military. Congratulations and THANK YOU!
Wayne and Teresa Napper, who will be RETIRING next week from their positions at Ft. Bragg. Both have worked many, many long years and are most deserving of this milestone in their lives. Congratulations.
Carin McLaughlin was baptized last week at the Triangle Church!! We welcome her to the Kingdom and are thrilled for her, her Mom, Febe, and her brother, Cameron, who, along with The Fayetteville Church, have been praying for Carin to become our Sister in Christ.
Lily Maksimovic's mother is doing well in her battle with liver cancer and is gaining strength daily..
Steve and Debi Salek's "nightmare" experiences of the past year are, finally, coming to a favorable closure. Steve and family are very, very grateful to the Church for the unwavering support given to them. Please continue to hold the family in prayer as they begin to heal.
Prayers Are Needed For:
Please pray for our Harvest Celebration, which will be October 3. It will be the culmination of our Community series and, as believers and followers of Jesus Christ, give each and every one of us an opportunity to "do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share." 1 Tim 6:18
